Brook officially joins the Straw Pirates Crew in One Piece after the completion of the Thriller Bark Arc. He becomes the ninth member of the crew and the eighth to join. When does Brook join the Straw Pirates Crew in One Piece?

Brook became a member of the Straw Hat crew during the Thriller Bark Arc. His introduction in One Piece was in Vol 46 Chapter 442 and Episode 337 of the anime. However, it wasn’t until Vol 50, Chapter 489 and Episode 381 of the anime that he officially joined the Straw Hat Pirates. In Chapter 489, the Straw Hat Pirates welcomed their new member, Brook, who is a musician. The entire crew is elated by his addition. Brook has fond memories of Laboon, and Crocus has noticed that Laboon is filled with happiness at Twin Cape. During his two-year break from training, Brook chose to pursue his dreams of being a rockstar instead of practicing. While staying on Namakura Island, an enigmatic organization took him in and crowned him as the island’s ruler, dubbing him the demon-in-chief. However, if Kuma’s intention was to send Brook to Namakura for this reason, it failed. Instead, the Longarm tribe captured Brook and forced him to become a sideshow performer.
