Ryan draws on the disturbing and perverse side of life for subject matter, both in his writing and his artwork. His work can often be controversial. Ryan is currently working on a series of multi-colored skull patterns that have been reproduced as prints and t-shirts. He's shown his work widely in Rhode Island.
